Teach your children the true principle of Christmas!

Let’s face it, everything about Christmas nowadays is excessive. Excessive gifts, excessive decorations and excessive food leaving you with enough leftovers to feed a small army.

For most of us, we often grow up believing that Christmas is a time of year to receive. We receive gifts, money, chocolate and the best part...Christmas dinner (unless you’re the one who actually had to do all of the cooking).

But with all this receiving, it is easy for us to forget to teach the true principle of Christmas - giving!

Rasta Claus is back for Christmas 2021 and this year he wants to show everyone that there is a way that you can ‘give a likkle back’.

Rasta Claus wants to make sure that children and adults alike understand that the joy of giving exceeds by far the delight of receiving.

This can start in your own home! Try a ‘Secret Santa’ type gift exchange for your immediate or extended family

this year. Ask everyone in the house to buy for ONE PERSON ONLY - mix names in a hat to make it more interesting. Children would have to think about who they are buying for, what that person likes and what they are interested in.

But wait...there’s more you can do!

It is Rasta Claus and his helpers’ mission to be able to provide gifts for as many people as possible who may otherwise not receive. However, we can’t do this alone.

We need your help!

This year, Rasta Claus will be taking donations of gifts, money and kindness to spread the love around Leeds. There are sooo many things you can do to help!

  1. Donate a gift

  2. Donate a small amount of money, as little as £5.

  3. Donate your time and become an Elf or Reindeer to help deliver to as many people as possible. (If you are a volunteer Elf or Reindeer with your own sleigh this is especially helpful!)

To find out more information on how you can ‘give a likkle back’ this Christmas, text ‘DONATE’ to 07496420301 and we will send you full details on what you can do.
